Movie Review – Despicable Me

Despicable Me (PG)
Director: Pierre Coffin, Chris Renaud.
Cast: (voices of) Steve Carell, Jason Segel, Russell Brand, Miranda Cosgrove, Will Arnett.
Marks the debut of Universal’s new Illumination Entertainment division. But after seeing the movie am I expecting to much, has Pixar and Dreamworks done such a great job at producing Kidadult movies where everyone (Kids) laughs then all the Adults laugh you get the idea.

I don’t really know what I was expecting but what I got was disappointment there is not the belly laughing, the plot is OK but not  what I expected. The best thing in the movie were the Minions and their best moments are at the end (Wait for the Credits) The Evil Bank scene formally #%^& not giving that one away.

Having Steve Carell as the lead may just save the movie but in my opinion save your money for Avatar the last Airbender as we could here this playing in the next cinema before Despicable Me  started.
