My Dad was a Masterprinter and ran his own commercial printing business in Wellington for over 18 years, so I have had a lot of exposure to printing and the technology from old lead type, running on an offset printer to magnetic plate making for a 4 colour printing press. I can also remember when we got our first photocopier I used it for my school projects by increasing the size of pictures and making collages.
I think my Dad would be amazed by 3D printing and now 3D Metal printing
